How to use our free GPT on ChatGPT.com

Below is an example video of how ForexGPT enables the use of ChatGPT for forex trading by combining AI-generated technical analysis across financial markets.

Subject to the terms of our license, you can ask Forex-Rates questions related to popular securities including crypto, stock indices, commodities, metals, bonds, and currency pairs for an up-to-date price analysis for a specific chart candlestick time interval, and duration (pricing is based on forex and CFD data from OANDA, our broker API provider).

Note: not all currency pairs, time-frames, and durations are supported, and ChatGPT is prone to hallucinate and give incorrect responses. For factual information about ForexGPT, visit Forex-GPT.ai, and do not ask the GPT for information about ForexGPT as it has no working knowledge of our service, and is solely designed to retrieve broker price data based on the four parameters:

1. Asset
2. From time
3. Candlestick granularity
4. Price type

Below are example prompts that can be used, but you can also chat with natural language.

Certain requests may trigger errors if the resulting amount of data is too large (such as too small a time frame combined with too large a duration, due to the token limits per message imposed by Chat-GPT in terms of its context memory, although this may increase as new model upgrades are launched by OpenAI).

Pro Tip: In general asking for around 200-400 candles worth of data should be sufficient to avoid an error from too large of a data request (i.e. a request that would be larger than the max tokens that ChatGPT can handle, which is 4096 for completions, despite its massive context memory of 128k tokens).

Note: In the Premium Version this is automatically calculated for you, so a request for 5-second candle data will pull enough candles to avoid the request being too large.

Embedded chart URLs in ChatGPT responses: Every chart link generated by ChatGPT is unique to the underlying prompt you use, and is embedded by ChatGPT into its reply to you.

When you enable the action by ‘trusting’ the GPT upon first use, you are simply sending the four chart parameters you requested to our server so it can fetch the prices from the broker API, provide AI-generated technical analysis to you based on the data you requested, and include a chart URL for you click to visit the chart on our server. The charts allow you to analyze the requested data further with our custom selection of pre-defined technical indicators, and additional advanced technical analysis if you are using the premium version.
