This AI-powered analysis loads about 15-20 seconds after the page refreshes (premium version).
Text-to-Speechvoice narration in SaaS application: Read or listen to ChatGPT automatically asses your selected time frames and share insights based on trends and available chart indicators and candle stick parameters. The play audio button appears about 10-15 seconds after technical analysis appears in the SaaS application (premium version).

About Forex Rates
Also known as ForexGPT, the Forex Rates plugin is ranked #2 in finance as of 11/24/2023 and the Forex-Rates Free Version custom GPT is #1 in finance, according to Whatplugin.ai. Both are available to OpenAI’s ChatGPT Plus users for free (note: as of March 2024, plugins will be deprecated as per OpenAI, as the focus shifts to GPTs).
Free versus Premium version: To unlock the full potential of AI, Since late November 2023, we just released Forex Rates – Premium Version with even more capabilities than the free version. The paid version helps offset hosting and server costs and the development of the software, and premium users can provide feedback to help improve future releases.

January 2024 update: while the above GPT was made public ahead of the GPT Store launch, existing paid subscribers automatically were upgraded to our development server which features more advanced and experimental features. If you prefer a more simplified yet stable experience, switch to the free version, whereas if you remain on the premium version, there may be occasional features that aren’t fully working as development is ongoing with new experiments aimed to enhance the user experience.)
February 2024 update: Following the launch of the ForexGPT Sentiment Indicator and upgraded user interface, the Premium Version now requires a valid premium subscription to use (i.e. to log in to the dashboard, charts or Forex Rates Premium Version GPT, you must have a paid subscription enabled and log in to the application with the same email address that you subscribed with via our Stripe portal). Free subscribers can continue on the Free Version or upgrade anytime.
March 2024 update: the latest version upgrade to 4.09 introduces ForexGPT Trading Signals, and accompanying risk disclosures related to hypothetical results and how the signals are AI-generated and not investment advice. The way this works is when a chart URL link is clicked on via the prompt response from the GPT or manually via the premium dashboard, in either case the chart URL loading triggers more advanced AI-generated analysis (than what is available in ChatGPT). The price data values of the latest candle convey all the technical indicator values too, coupled with the ForexGPT Sentiment Indicator, in order to produce a Buy, Neutral or Sell signal. Each signal attempts to include a stop-loss level (target risk) and limit level (target profit), as an example of potential risk management, and accompanying risk-reward ratio.

How to use Forex-Rates
Subject to the terms of our license, you can ask Forex-Rates questions related to popular securities including crypto, stock indices, commodities, metals, bonds, and currency pairs for an up-to-date price analysis for a specific chart candlestick time interval, and duration (pricing is based on forex and CFD data from OANDA, our broker API provider).
Note: not all currency pairs, time-frames, and durations are supported.
Below are example prompts that can be used, but you can also chat with natural language.
Certain requests may trigger errors if the resulting amount of data is too large (such as too small a time frame combined with too large a duration, due to the token limits per message imposed by Chat-GPT in terms of its context memory, although this may increase as new model upgrades are launched by OpenAI).
Pro Tip: In general asking for around 200-400 candles worth of data should be sufficient to avoid an error from too large of a data request (i.e. a request that would be larger than the max tokens that ChatGPT can handle, which is 4096 for completions, despite its massive context memory of 128k tokens).
Note: In the Premium Version this is automatically calculated for you, so a request for 5-second candle data will pull enough candles to avoid the request being too large.

The example queries above demonstrate how to balance the amount of data requested, where it is calculated based on the candle-interval timeframe multiplied by duration (i.e. n minute candles over x timeframe results in the size of the dataset). For example, if you ask for 1-minute candle intervals, the time frame duration will need to be smaller, than if you wanted several week’s worth of daily candle data, for example (i.e. if you asked for multiple week’s worth of 1-minute candles it may be too large and cause an error, although with the latest capabilities of Chat-GPT to 128k context tokens it helps).

Latest upgrades Version 4.04 and higher
The Forex Rates – Premium Version custom GPT 4.09 was bolstered with ForexGPT Trading Signals, after we added the ForexGPT Sentiment Indicator a month earlier, and AI-powered technical analysis via GPT Turbo that continues in our web application, with narration by OpenAI’s Whisper model.
These features are already available to all premium subscribers.
Additional features may be added or removed, or limited, as part of ongoing development (i.e. the implementation of token quotas or caps, to ensure our costs are kept under control and provide fair access to all users).
Embedded chart URLs in ChatGPT responses: Every chart link generated by ChatGPT is unique to the underlying prompt you use, and is embedded by ChatGPT into its reply to you.
When you enable the action by ‘trusting’ the GPT upon first use, you are simply sending the four chart parameters you requested to our server so it can fetch the prices from the broker API, provide AI-generated technical analysis to you based on the data you requested, and include a chart URL for you click to visit the chart on our server. The charts allow you to analyze the requested data further with our custom selection of pre-defined technical indicators, and additional advanced technical analysis if you are using the premium version.
