How do the ForexGPT^® trading signals work?

When a chart is loaded within our application — either manually by clicking the “open new chart” button, or when you arrive from a chart URL — AI-generated technical analysis is performed on the chart parameters in under a minute, before assessing for a potential trading signal.

• The model analyzes the Open, High, Low, and Close price of the last candle, and values for the simple moving averages, including the 7, 14, 50, and 100 period, plus the Bollinger Upper, Middle, and Lower bands, and the Donchian Upper, Middle, and Lower bands.
• Then, the ForexGPT^® Sentiment Score is assessed. Depending on how these interact, a neutral signal means the model is suggesting to do nothing, whereas a bullish or bearish signal will accompany stop-loss and take-profit targets, as an example.

Tokens, free quota, and plans

Free daily tokens: Every generation consumes tokens — roughly 2,700 per technical analysis request by ForexGPT^® (which includes AI-generated trading signals). Subscribers receive a daily quota of free tokens every 24 hours (UTC midnight reset). Free tokens do not carry over each day and reset before the daily quota is added (learn more about ForexGPT^® tokens here).

Premium tokens: To run more analysis than the free daily quota allows, you can purchase premium tokens, which do not expire like free daily tokens do. Pricing for current token packs and subscription plans is listed on our pricing page. Token values are subject to change; see the pricing page for current amounts.

When tokens are consumed: All token usage (free and premium) is triggered only when you open a chart or click a chart URL link, and each time you refresh the chart page — including when switching back to the ForexGPT tab in your browser, on web or mobile. When your token balance is zero or too low for a new analysis, you will see a message that not enough tokens are available, with the opportunity to top up your balance. Note: free and premium tokens from ForexGPT^® cannot be redeemed for cash and are non-refundable (monthly subscription costs are subject to our refund policy).

Advanced usage

Every time ForexGPT^® runs its analysis, if the Sentiment Score is too close to Neutral (0), ForexGPT^® will generate a Neutral Trading Signal, which means it neither suggests buying nor selling. This means it can be helpful to scan through different assets and timeframes, looking for securities that will generate a buy or sell signal, before diving deeper into the AI-generated analysis. Note: a Very Bullish or Very Bearish Sentiment Score does not always mean that ForexGPT^® will generate a signal, as it also takes into consideration other chart parameters, including the values of moving averages and other indicators that we utilize.
