  • Multi-timeframe technical indicator calculations
  • Sentiment scoring and signal generation
  • Economic calendar data
  • Market scanning and opportunity identification

    • Server URL: https://mcp.forex-gpt.ai/mcp
    • When prompted, enter your existing ForexGPT username and password
    • Authentication is handled securely through OAuth 2.0
  3. Start Using ForexGPT Tools
    • Simply ask Claude or ChatGPT to analyze markets
    • The AI will automatically invoke the appropriate ForexGPT tools
    • Results are returned in real-time for the AI to interpret and present

Method 2: API Token Authentication (Advanced)

For programmatic access or automated workflows:

  1. Log in to your ForexGPT dashboard at https://live4.forex-gpt.ai/dashboard
  2. Navigate to the API section (beta users only)
  3. Generate a new API token (lasts 90 days)

Compliance-Friendly Examples for Your Daily Trading Routine

Morning Market Preparation (Pre-Market Analysis)

1. Daily Market Overview

“Scan the market for opportunities on the daily timeframe with a minimum sentiment score of 60. Show me the top 5 strongest signals across forex, crypto, and commodities.”

Use Case: Start your trading day by identifying which assets are showing the strongest directional bias. This helps prioritize which markets to focus on.

2. Watchlist Health Check

“Analyze my watchlist across multiple timeframes (H4, D, W) and show me which pairs are showing alignment or divergence in sentiment across these timeframes.”

Use Case: Multi-timeframe analysis helps confirm trend strength and identify potential reversal zones before placing trades.

3. Economic Calendar Integration

“Show me upcoming economic events for the next 3 days and analyze EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY. Are there any high-impact events I should be aware of before taking positions?”

Use Case: Avoid getting caught in unexpected volatility by checking the economic calendar alongside your technical analysis.

Asset-Specific Deep Dives

4. Gold Sentiment Analysis

“What’s the current sentiment for XAU/USD on the daily timeframe? Show me the technical setup, key levels, and compare it to the 4-hour timeframe to see if there’s confirmation.”

Use Case: Gold traders can assess whether the precious metal is in a bullish or bearish phase and identify optimal entry points.

5. Bitcoin Volatility Check

“Analyze BTC/USD on the H1 and H4 timeframes. What’s the sentiment score and current spread? Is liquidity favorable for trading right now?”

Use Case: Crypto traders need to assess both technical sentiment and trading costs before entering volatile markets.

6. Oil Market Pulse

“Check the sentiment for BCO/USD (Brent Crude) on the daily chart. Show me the current price, sentiment score, and any upcoming events that might impact energy markets.”

Use Case: Commodity traders can stay ahead of oil price movements by combining technical analysis with fundamental awareness.

7. S&P 500 Index Analysis

“Analyze SPX500/USD on the daily timeframe and show me the sentiment score. Compare this to recent blog articles from ForexGPT to see if there are any market insights I should know about.”

Use Case: Equity index traders can contextualize their technical analysis with recent market commentary and analysis.

Portfolio Management & Risk Assessment

8. Diversification Check

“Create a live heatmap for EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, XAU/USD, and BTC/USD on the daily timeframe. Which assets are moving independently vs. correlated?”

Use Case: Understanding correlation helps traders avoid overexposure to similar market movements and improve portfolio diversification.

9. Risk-Reward Scanner

“Scan the market for opportunities with a minimum score of 50 on daily timeframes. Calculate the risk-reward ratio for each signal and rank them from best to worst.”

Use Case: Identify trades with favorable risk-reward profiles to maximize potential returns while managing downside risk.

10. Spread Cost Analysis

“Check the current spreads for EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, and XAU/USD. Which pairs are most cost-effective to trade right now?”

Use Case: Day traders and scalpers can optimize their trading costs by choosing pairs with the tightest spreads during active market hours.

Weekly Planning & Strategy

11. Weekend Market Review

“Analyze EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY on weekly timeframes. Show me the sentiment scores and identify which pairs are setting up for potential moves next week.”

Use Case: Sunday planning session to prepare for the week ahead by identifying major trends on higher timeframes.

12. Contrarian Opportunity Finder

“Show me assets with sentiment scores between -40 and +40 on the daily chart. These neutral zones might present opportunities as markets choose direction.”

Use Case: Range traders and mean-reversion traders can identify consolidation phases before breakouts occur.

13. Trend Confirmation Workflow

“Analyze XAU/USD on daily, 4-hour, and 1-hour timeframes. Is the trend aligned across all three? Show me entry points where multiple timeframes agree.”

Use Case: Swing traders can increase confidence in their trades by waiting for multi-timeframe confirmation before entering.

Educational & Learning Use Cases

14. Pattern Recognition Study

“Fetch the last 100 candles of chart data for EUR/USD on the daily timeframe. Show me where the sentiment score changed significantly and help me understand what price patterns coincided with those changes.”

Use Case: Learning traders can study historical price action and correlate it with sentiment shifts to improve pattern recognition skills.

15. Comparative Analysis

“Compare the sentiment scores and technical setups for all major USD pairs (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, USD/CHF) on the H4 timeframe. Which pair has the cleanest setup?”

Use Case: Understand relative strength/weakness across the USD to identify the best directional trades.

Specialized Trading Approaches

16. News Event Preparation

“Get upcoming economic events for the next 24 hours. Then analyze any pairs that will be affected and show me their current sentiment scores. Should I stay out of certain pairs during these events?”

Use Case: News traders can prepare for volatility while conservative traders can avoid unnecessary risk during high-impact releases.

17. End-of-Day Review

“Analyze my watchlist (EUR/USD, GBP/USD, XAU/USD) and show me today’s price action – open, high, low, close. Did sentiment scores shift today? What should I watch for tomorrow?”

Use Case: Evening routine to review the day’s movements and prepare for the next trading session.

18. Session-Based Trading

“Create a heatmap for Asian session pairs (USD/JPY, AUD/USD, NZD/USD) on the H4 timeframe. Which pairs are showing the strongest momentum during this session?”

Use Case: Traders who focus on specific market sessions can identify which pairs are most active during their preferred trading hours.

Research & Discovery

19. Market Sentiment Shifts

“Search for recent ForexGPT blog articles and show me the latest market analysis. Then compare those insights to current sentiment scores for EUR/USD, BTC/USD, and SPX500/USD.”

Use Case: Stay informed about market themes and validate them against real-time technical indicators.

20. Hidden Opportunity Hunter

“Scan the entire market (all 127 assets) on the daily timeframe with a minimum sentiment score of 70. Show me any instruments I might not typically trade that are showing strong directional bias.”

Use Case: Discover trading opportunities in lesser-known pairs or commodities that might be overlooked but showing strong technical setups.

Best Practices for Using These Prompts

✅ Do’s:

  • Combine multiple tools – Use economic calendar with technical analysis for complete market picture
  • Check multiple timeframes – Confirm signals across H1, H4, and D charts
  • Monitor spreads – Always check trading costs before entering positions
  • Review sentiment scores – Understand the strength of directional bias (50-70 moderate, 70+ strong)
  • Keep a routine – Use these prompts consistently as part of your daily/weekly trading workflow

❌ Don’ts:

  • Don’t rely solely on sentiment scores – they are one tool among many
  • Don’t ignore risk management – always use appropriate position sizing and stop losses
  • Don’t trade every signal – be selective and wait for high-quality setups
  • Don’t skip fundamental analysis – economic events can override technical patterns
  • Don’t forget that most traders lose money – proper education and risk management are essential

Final Thoughts

The ForexGPT MCP server represents a significant step forward in making sophisticated forex analysis accessible through conversational AI interfaces. By combining ForexGPT’s analytical capabilities with the reasoning power of large language models, premium users can conduct market research more efficiently.

However, this technology should be viewed as a research tool, not a replacement for sound trading education, risk management, and disciplined execution. The majority of retail forex traders experience losses, and no analytical tool – regardless of how advanced – can guarantee profitable outcomes.

We encourage all users to:

  • Practice with demo accounts before risking real capital
  • Maintain strict position sizing and risk management
  • Continuously educate themselves on market dynamics
  • Seek professional financial advice when appropriate
  • Never trade with money they cannot afford to lose
